About the role

As the Immigration Compliance Manager, you will be part of Student Journey which is a vibrant, collaborative, and purposeful team. You will provide the operational lead across the institution to make sure the University complies with its Sponsored Student and Skilled Worker licence requirements and at the same time supporting the International Office to grow our international student numbers. You will do this by providing strong leadership to a small team of Immigration Compliance Administrators who are responsible for carrying out the compliance checks and are based within the Student Administration service.

About you

To be successful in this role the key requirement is to demonstrate a genuine desire to support, motivate and lead and to operate effectively within a regulated compliance infrastructure and in a fast paced, ever changing international landscape. You will do this confidently and with integrity and by putting our applicants and students at the heart of everything you do. You will work collaboratively with teams across both Sunderland and London campus.

In return, you will have a unique opportunity to add a real contribution to the University’s international strategy, whilst working with dedicated and friendly colleagues. We also offer you our commitment to training and development, a generous annual leave provision and to be part of a high-quality professional service in support of an excellent student experience.

Interviews for this post will take place on Thursday 30 May 2024.
