The Enterprise and Innovation Directorate is a focal point for activities that maximise the economic and social impact of the University of Sunderland. Work Based Learning (WBL) forms a significant part of the University commercial portfolio and the introduction of degree apprenticeships will see this continue to grow along with the Corporate and Professional Education CPD portfolio.  This position is to work with part of the WBL team, within the Enterprise and Innovation Directorate and will play a supporting role in the process implementation, management information, data compliance and evaluation of the WBL portfolio.

This is an integral role within the team.  You will be responsible for supporting the WBL Officer on the implementation of systems and processes, providing management information, analysing programme evaluation and working with clients on contracting.  You will liaise with Business Development Managers and other staff members across the University meaning excellent communication skills are key.  We are looking for an applicant who is self motivated and hardworking, with a strong customer service background. You should be comfortable using your own initiative and capable of multi tasking as you will have a range of different projects to work on at any given time.  Due to the commercial nature of WBL projects, a high level of professionalism and attention to detail is essential.

For an informal discussion or any questions, please contact Hazel Rounthwaite, Head of Work Based Learning on 07748 334726 or via email on hazel.rounthwaite@sunderland.ac.uk
