It’s an exciting time to join University IT – a multi-disciplinary team of IT and IG professionals. The team delivers the IT strategy, governance, security, development, operational resilience and customer service that underpins the academic and corporate health of the University. The team provides a high level of expertise and knowledge across all parts of the University.

Technical Services is going through a large technology transformation programme, IT Futures, which see’s our IT services move to a cloud-first data centre zero (DC0) model underpinning the University’s Digital First strategy. Find out more about Technical Services here

This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated individual with a good knowledge of Public cloud environments such as Azure or AWS to join a dynamic team with a can do attitude.  With your track record in cloud migrations you will be one of the technical leads in ensuring the University delivers on its DC0 agenda.

To help deliver our IT Futures programme you will be working closely with some of our industry-leading technology partners such as Microsoft, Phoenix Software and DUO Security, to move us from traditionally managed IT services to a cloud-first based model.
