We are seeking to appoint an exceptional candidate to this new senior role in our Student Journey directorate. This role will provide the senior lead to our Student Support Services portfolio, providing strategic leadership, vision and management to the teams and ensuring our services to students are high quality, innovative, relevant and underpin the strategic direction of the University.

You will be the institutional strategic lead, holding senior level responsibility/expertise and giving informed insight, for all Student Support Services other team related matters, including Prevent, safeguarding, mental health, and compliance requirements.

Student Journey is the key and principle student-facing service department at the University. In addition to student support services, our teams incorporate admissions and enrolment through to ‘student life’ activities and support personal and academic development via the library and careers services.

As part of the Student Journey executive team (currently 3) you will enjoy contributing to a wide leadership and management remit. There is ample opportunity to thrive at a senior management level by contributing to and participating in many aspects of the University’s business.

We are looking for people who are passionate about making a positive impact and difference to our students by developing excellent and impactful services and the teams whose professional expertise is essential to successful delivery.

We are seeking an experienced leader/manager with a demonstrable track record of success in at least one of the services in the portfolio. You will have abundant energy and enthusiasm for all that is required to lead, shape and deliver an excellent and highly acclaimed student experience in a high performing, converged student-focused service.

If this is you and you relish the opportunity to expand your horizons and contribute to the leadership and development across the remit of Student Journey, then we’d love to hear from you.
