Founded in 1984, MTC is one of a number of successful commercial enterprises formed by the University of Sunderland. MTC is a training provider offering a range of accredited courses in a wide range of IT and project management. MTC’s core objective is to serve the North East region as a leading provider of accredited IT training.

Based at the Industry Centre, Enterprise Park West, Sunderland – MTC offers the highest technical accreditations available and serves the whole of the North East region. The centre has a reputation for excellence and quality, built upon the exceptional dedication and professionalism of our team.

MTC Training are a relatively new provider of Apprenticeships, currently offering Administration, Customer Service, Management and IT Frameworks, with transition to Standards planned over the next 6-12 months.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, experienced Assessor to deliver Intermediate and Advanced Apprenticeships in Management, Business Administration, Customer Service and IT. As the Assessor, you will be responsible for training and assessing learners through their Apprenticeship, supporting and motivating learners to achieve the relevant qualifications whilst building and maintaining your caseload.


We are looking for a passionate and driven individual who is able to demonstrate a strong understanding of Apprenticeship delivery and the common inspection framework.


The role requires you to hold relevant teaching and assessor qualifications, along with appropriate occupational competence. You will demonstrate a proven track record of delivering Apprenticeship frameworks, with high success rates.
