The Graduate Internship Scheme is a collaboration between the University of Sunderland, a recent Graduate and a regional SME. The Scheme has been designed to benefit both the Graduate and the company, ensuring that the Graduate takes the first steps on the career ladder whilst the company benefits from the Graduates enthusiasm, expertise and up to date knowledge.  



The Internship is a full time position.


The Organisation:

Group Horizon is a national training provider specialising in Apprenticeships, Functional Skills, Jobseeker Short Courses and Workforce Development Programmes. Our range of apprenticeships include Energy management, manufacturing  and management. We work with a range of organisation including large utility companies to local councils.


The Role:

The Digital & e-Learning Developer will work on different projects and departments to support the development and digitising of training programmes. The role will include developing/converting training materials into digital learning, producing webinars, the day to day management of our learning platform and training staff.

Key Tasks

Digital Marketing

  • Scheduling social media posts
  • Email campaigns
  • TextOut SMS
  • Video development/editing

e-Learning:

  • Develop learning content and materials
  • Testing and reviewing of e-learning content
  • Support with online delivery of programmes through webinars and elearning
  • Provide training and support for staff in the use of Moodie and MS Office software
  • Version and quality controlling documents.


Essential and Desirable Criteria

Essential

  • Educated to degree level
  • Strong IT skills
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications
  • Creative
  • Flexible
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Ability to engage in self-directed work as well as engage in teamwork


Desirable

  • Experience of using Moodie or other Learning Management System
  • Adobe Cloud
  • Adobe Captivate
  • Animation
  • Video development
