This role plays a key part in delivering efficient, high‑quality services that support our students on their journey with us.&nbsp;</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">The position suits someone who thrives in a busy environment, manages competing priorities confidently, and values excellent service delivery.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;"><strong><u>Key Responsibilities</u></strong></p><div style="margin-left:0cm;"><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li style="margin-left:0cm;">Deliver a high-quality, student-centered enquiry service for international students, resolving queries or escalating where needed&nbsp;</li><li style="margin-left:0cm;">Provide accurate and efficient administrative support across the student lifecycle (enrolment to graduation)&nbsp;</li><li style="margin-left:0cm;">Coordinate and support communications and engagement activities to enhance the international student experience&nbsp;</li><li style="margin-left:0cm;">Maintain accurate student records, ensuring compliance with university policies and regulations (e.g. GDPR, safeguarding)&nbsp;</li><li style="margin-left:0cm;">Monitor student attendance and proactively support &lsquo;at risk&rsquo; students, escalating concerns appropriately&nbsp;</li><li style="margin-left:0cm;">Work collaboratively with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure a seamless, joined-up student service&nbsp;</li><li style="margin-left:0cm;">Support the planning, promotion and delivery of events and activities for international students</li></ul></div><p style="margin-left:0cm;"><strong><u>Essential Requirements</u></strong></p><div style="margin-left:0cm;"><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li style="margin-left:0cm;">Educated to A-level standard (or equivalent)&nbsp;</li><li style="margin-left:0cm;">Experience in an administrative and customer-focused role&nbsp;</li><li style="margin-left:0cm;">Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines&nbsp;</li><li style="margin-left:0cm;">Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear advice and guidance&nbsp;</li><li style="margin-left:0cm;">Competence in IT systems including Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Outlook, Teams)&nbsp;</li><li style="margin-left:0cm;">Ability to problem-solve, take ownership of enquiries, and escalate complex issues appropriately</li><li style="margin-left:0cm;">Experience in a customer‑focused or administrative role&nbsp;</li></ul></div><p style="margin-left:0cm;"><strong><u>Desirable</u></strong></p><div style="margin-left:0cm;"><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li style="margin-left:0cm;">Experience of working with international students in a support role in Further or Higher Education.&nbsp;</li><li style="margin-left:0cm;">Knowledge of compliance requirements in relation to international students.&nbsp;</li></ul></div><p style="margin-left:0cm;"><strong><u>About us</u></strong></p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">Based in Canary Wharf, the University of Sunderland in London is a dynamic campus delivering year‑round education with multiple student intakes.
