Your work will support the University&rsquo;s ambitions around REF, KEF and impact case study development. Overall, you will help expand the Institute&rsquo;s research reputation, strengthen its partnerships, and advance the strategic programme of work focused on improving health and wellbeing through nature‑based interventions.</p><p><strong>Is this you?</strong></p></div><p>You will hold a postgraduate degree in an arts discipline, be an established nature-based artist/creative practitioner with a strong portfolio of completed projects. You will be involved in the delivery of high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment in pharmacology and therapeutics across undergraduate, postgraduate, and continuing professional development programmes, in line with GPhC standards. We have a significant focus on widening access and will deploy our expertise to ensure we recruit students from the communities they will ultimately serve.</p><p>Our programme allows medical students to learn within our state-of-the-art teaching and learning spaces, including outstanding laboratory facilities, the latest in high fidelity clinical simulation equipment and some of the best hospital and GP settings in England.</p><p>The School of Medicine has a vibrant and growing research environment in public health, strengthened by externally funded research projects and opportunities to collaborate with local partners, such as through Fuse, the Centre for Translational Research in Public Health.</p><p><strong>About the role</strong></p><p>As a Lecturer in Public Health, you will deliver high quality undergraduate medical education, training and research related to your area of expertise, and you will assist with medical admissions and assessment processes as part of diverse and welcoming team.</p><p><em>Please note this is a fixed-term role for 12-months.</em></p><p><strong>What you can bring&nbsp;</strong></p><p>The successful candidate will hold an undergraduate degree and/or a postgraduate degree (usually a doctorate) in public health or a related discipline and will have a developing research portfolio. They will have up-to-date knowledge of current trends in public health and medicine.
