An opportunity has arisen in the Academic Registry’s Timetabling, Attendance Monitoring and Graduation team for the role of Timetabling and Attendance Monitoring Support.


The Timetabling, Attendance Monitoring and Graduation team is one of three cross-institutional teams within the Registry. The team work closely with academic staff and programme support colleagues to ensure effective operation of the attendance monitoring and timetabling systems.


In the role of Timetabling and Attendance Monitoring Support you will be responsible for providing administrative support for timetabling of taught sessions and examinations (including provision for student with special needs and the allocation of invigilators) and for attendance monitoring (including the use of databases to manage relevant records) and where the workload permits, to provide support for the graduations team.


As the successful candidate you will have proven experience of, and a positive attitude to, the use of electronic systems, with good IT and communication skills. You will have demonstrable experience of the use of personal judgement to escalate areas of concern, of working independently and within a role that requires effective planning, organisational skills and strong attention to detail.


You will be educated to GCSE level including Maths and English at grade C or above or equivalent qualifications.
