Marketing & Recruitment - Access to HE & Scholarships

Company:  University of Sunderland
Location:  Sunderland Campus
Competitive Salary
Closing Date:  Friday 29 March 2019
Reference:  CW009

Stand out from the crowd!  Not only do you get to wear a bright orange T-shirt, the experiences gained from being a Student Ambassador can help you get ahead as a graduate and make your university experience even more life changing.

We are recruiting for Student Ambassadors to work between April 2019 and April 2020, therefore you must be a current student between those dates. As this is a year contract, students due to graduate in July 2019 are not eligible to apply.

The Student Ambassador Scheme gives current students a wealth of opportunities to gain experience, develop invaluable skills, represent the University, meet new people and earn a little money too.  It’s a great way to get involved with life on campus beyond lectures and help you to make the most of your university experience.

As a Student Ambassador you will be a casual worker for the University, working as part of a large team and will gain access to a host of benefits. Hours are very flexible and there are usually opportunities throughout the year that can fit around any course timetable.

Students who are successful in joining the Student Ambassador team will benefit from:

  • Paid casual work assignments
  • Flexibility to accept and decline assignments to suit their timetable
  • Full training
  • Continuous Professional Development training
  • Reference to reflect the work carried out throughout the year
  • Careers workshops to aid graduate employability
  • Opportunity to represent the university at local and national events
  • Uniform (t-shirt and hooded sweatshirt)
