The University of Sunderland is looking to appoint an exceptional individual with well developed leadership skills for the role of Assistant Director within the Marketing and Recruitment Service. If you choose to apply you will need to demonstrate the experience required to play a crucial role in achieving the ambitions outlined in our Strategic Plan.

Reporting to the Director, the successful candidate will have a proven track-record in leading teams in a senior marketing and sales function, preferably within the higher education sector. Applicants for this post will need to demonstrate that they have the attributes and skills set out in the role profile. In addition the role requires an individual that can demonstrate the capability to provide strategic direction and inspire confidence at a cross-institutional level, with staff and external stakeholders.

Delivering student recruitment targets is a key aspect of this role as well as the development of compelling marketing and communication plans in support of the recruitment effort.

Experience of working in a fast-moving environment and a demonstrable track-record of leading teams and delivering objectives are prerequisites for this role.  Please see the candidate information pack (prospectus) for more information.
