The Organisation:

The Faculty of Business, Law and Tourism is home to Sunderland Business School and Sunderland Law School, with key areas of teaching including business and management, hospitality and events, aviation and tourism, and law.

The Role: 

The Intern role will actively contribute to the Faculty’s strategy in terms of the following KPIs: Accreditation of the Small Business Charter, which will contribute to Recruitment, Student Experience, Increased Financial Contribution, Graduate prospects, Rankings, Retention, Competitiveness.

The Intern role will provide a much-needed resource in the sourcing of relevant evidence in the submission of the Faculty’s Small Business Charter and in establishing effective communications with Schools and Colleges to enhance student recruitment and student experience.

Main Purpose:

  • Positively engage in the accurate sourcing and benchmarking of the Faculty of Business, Law & Tourism activities leading to the accreditation of the Small Business Chart Award.
  • Demonstrate an ability to source and secure viable school and college relationships in terms of recruitment and curriculum related activities
