We are looking for enthusiastic people to join the Facilities Support Team to provide a high quality cleaning service across the University Estate which includes the Campus Teaching Buildings, Halls of Residence and National Glass Centre.

We currently have a permanent 17hour vacancy working Friday, 1400-1700hrs and Saturday and Sunday 0830 -1600hrs

The successful candidates will demonstrate an ability to follow instructions, work to safe working practices, have a keen eye for detail and be flexible in their approach to work as we move the team around campus.

Responsibilities include:

  • Following a work schedule to ensure a high standard of cleaning is delivered
  • Following instructions from Team Leaders and Facilities Support Managers
  • Cleaning of fixtures and fittings within all buildings on campus.
  • Using electrical cleaning machines

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • A reasonable level of numeracy and literacy skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Good communication skills

Previous experience is not essential as we will provide a full induction which will include all training
