An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Academic Registry’s Programme Administration team to appoint a highly motivated and efficient individual to the role of Programme Administration Assistant. This is an interesting and varied role that will support the successful delivery of Psychology programmes and provide a professional support service to members of staff at all levels, working with colleagues in Academic Registry and services beyond it.
As a Programme Administration Assistant you will be educated to GCSE standard or equivalent, or have relevant experience in a similar role. You will have proven experience of working in a customer-focused environment, demonstrating the ability to plan effectively with excellent organizational skills. Having strong attention to detail, you will also be able to deal with a variety of challenging situations, including complex and wide-ranging enquiries. Applicants will be able to demonstrate the ability to manage their own time and to successfully meet deadlines.
The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate both within a team and with the wider university community. The successful candidates will have a positive approach to their work, a desire to undertake continuous self-improvement and to proactively acquire new knowledge. Your user expertise in IT systems will be good and include solid experience of Microsoft Office.
If you would like to work in a forward-thinking professional service, with continuous improvement at the forefront of everything that we do, these roles will provide an exciting opportunity for you.
