Academic Registry is a professional support service that covers a number of key areas of academic administration across the University.  It includes Programme Support, Casework, Timetabling, Attendance Monitoring & Graduations, Graduate Research Support and Quality Support.

This opportunity is to work within the Quality Support Team, who are a key enabler of Programme and Partner Approval, Review and Modification.  The team also provides support to University committees and working groups.  This role is fixed term for two years.

As part of a job share arrangement working 18.5 hours per week, the successful candidate will work closely with the Quality Manager and the quality support team, to provide client support to the Faculty of Education and Society. In addition to providing consistent advice and high quality support to the faculty, you will lead identified areas at a University level and manage approval and review processes.

This role has line management responsibility and we would therefore look to appoint or develop an effective people manager.

We are looking for applicants with substantial professional experience and it is desirable that they have an honors degree.  We are looking for an individual who is self-motivated, has a high level of attention to detail and is able to work with a wide range of stakeholders successfully.

Although the team are mainly located in the Gateway Building on City Campus, there is an expectation staff also spend some time in their allocated Faculty.

Please note that this vacancy is also being advertised to staff eligible for redeployment via the University redeployment portal.  Applicants who are eligible for redeployment will be interviewed before any other external candidates are considered.
