The University of Sunderland in London, based at Canary Wharf, boasts a vibrant and diverse community of staff and students. We consider ourselves as an innovative satellite campus and are constantly evolving and have exciting plans for 2025 and beyond!
We are currently piloting a four-day working week which allows our colleagues to work 32 hours over 4 days week with no reduction in pay. The pilot is part of our ongoing efforts to create a positive and inclusive workplace that promotes work-life balance and allows our colleagues to thrive professionally and personally whilst maintaining our commitment to delivering high-quality service to all our students.

ABOUT THE TEAM
You’ll be joining the Marketing, Recruitment, and Admissions Department, a dynamic team responsible for promoting the university’s brand, attracting prospective students, and managing the admissions process. The integrated team combines strategic marketing, targeted recruitment, and efficient admissions operations to ensure a seamless journey from first contact to enrolment. Through collaborative efforts, the department articulates a compelling narrative of our academic strengths, vibrant community life, and unique opportunities, aligning closely with the university's mission and core values.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As our Visual Content Producer, you’ll be at the heart of creating engaging and informative video and photographic content for our website, advertising, and social media channels. You’ll manage the full production process, from planning and filming to editing and publishing while working closely with the Marketing Manager to shape content strategy and align outputs with wider marketing and recruitment goals.
To excel in this role, you’ll need proven experience in end-to-end video production, particularly for social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Strong skills in editing software are essential, along with a creative eye for visual storytelling and content strategy. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills are key, and you should be confident working independently and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
