The University of Sunderland in London, based at Canary Wharf, boasts a vibrant and diverse community of staff and students. We consider ourselves as an innovative satellite campus and are constantly evolving and have exciting plans for 2025 and beyond!
We are currently piloting a four-day working week which allows our colleagues to work 32 hours over 4 days week with no reduction in pay. The pilot is part of our ongoing efforts to create a positive and inclusive workplace that promotes work-life balance and allows our colleagues to thrive professionally and personally whilst maintaining our commitment to delivering high-quality service to all our students.

ABOUT THE TEAM AND THE ROLE
Join our dynamic Timetabling Team at the University of Sunderland in London, where collaboration and innovation are at the heart of everything we do. As a Timetabling Officer, you’ll play a key role in creating accurate and timely timetables that support teaching and learning across the campus. Working closely with academic and professional colleagues, you’ll help solve scheduling challenges, maintain data integrity, and ensure students have the information they need to succeed. If you enjoy working with systems, managing priorities, and being part of a team that values collaboration and continuous improvement, we’d love to hear from you.
ABOUT YOU
To thrive as a Timetabling Officer, you’ll bring experience from a student support or service environment where delivering excellent customer care was key. You’ll be confident using student information systems and skilled in handling data with accuracy and attention to detail. Strong organisational skills are essential, as you’ll be managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. You’ll also need to be a great communicator and team player, able to work collaboratively while staying calm and professional under pressure.
