We are currently piloting a four-day working week which allows our colleagues to work 32 hours over 4 days week with no reduction in pay. The pilot is part of our ongoing efforts to create a positive and inclusive workplace that promotes work-life balance and allows our colleagues to thrive professionally and personally whilst maintaining our commitment to delivering high-quality service to all our students.

In addition, we have recently moved to a modern campus building, offering a bright and spacious learning and working environment.

ABOUT THE TEAM AND THE ROLE

You will join the Operations and Governance team, working closely with senior academic and professional services colleagues to uphold and enhance academic quality and standards across the institution. As Quality Enhancement Manager, you will lead a small, dedicated quality team and play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the University’s quality assurance and enhancement agenda. The role offers the opportunity to influence academic governance, support continuous improvement, and drive enhancement initiatives that directly contribute to an excellent student experience, while working collaboratively with colleagues.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

To succeed in this role, you will bring significant experience of quality assurance and enhancement within a higher education environment, along with a strong understanding of academic governance and regulatory requirements. You will be an effective and confident leader, able to manage and develop a small team while working collaboratively with a wide range of academic and professional stakeholders. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to interpret and present complex information will be essential, as will resilience and sound judgement in a fast‑paced and evolving sector. Above all, you will be committed to continuous improvement and to delivering an excellent student experience.
