ABOUT US 

The University of Sunderland in London boasts a vibrant and diverse community of staff and students. We consider ourselves as an innovative satellite campus and are constantly evolving and have exciting plans for 2026 and beyond!

We are currently piloting a four-day working week which allows our colleagues to work 32 hours over 4 days week with no reduction in pay. The pilot is part of our ongoing efforts to create a positive and inclusive workplace that promotes work-life balance and allows our colleagues to thrive professionally and personally whilst maintaining our commitment to delivering high-quality service to all our students.

In addition, we have recently moved to a modern campus building, offering a bright and spacious learning and working environment.

ABOUT THE TEAM AND THE ROLE

Join a forward‑thinking team shaping a seamless, student‑centred experience from enrolment to graduation. As Student Journey Manager, you’ll lead the design and delivery of clear, connected and impactful processes, communications and support across the whole student lifecycle. Working at the heart of a collaborative, data‑driven and student‑focused environment, you will champion innovation, empower your team, and help ensure every student feels supported, informed and valued throughout their journey.

 WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

You will be a strategic thinker with strong operational instincts, able to translate big‑picture vision into smooth, student‑centred delivery. You will bring confident leadership, excellent communication skills, and a talent for using data to shape decisions and improve services. Comfortable managing complex projects and working across teams, you’ll thrive in a fast‑paced environment where collaboration, innovation and a commitment to an outstanding student experience are essential.
