Hourly Rate : £27.20-£32.30. Consolidated rate for Cat 1 inc holiday pay: £66.00 to £78.39

Role overview
We are seeking a student-focused professional to join the University of Sunderland in London as Associate Lecturers in Nursing on a fixed-term basis.
This role provides the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning within a dynamic and practice-focused academic environment.
The successful candidates will bring strong clinical expertise, teaching experience and a passion for supporting students to succeed in their nursing careers.
To ensure high-quality teaching and student support, we’re looking for someone who is available to teach on campus at least two days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging teaching across Nursing and Public Health programmes
- Support student learning through teaching, assessment and academic guidance
- Contribute to clinical simulation teaching and skills development
- Supervise student research projects (where appropriate)
- Work collaboratively with the academic team to enhance the curriculum and student experience
Essential Requirements
- NMC registration as an Adult Nurse
- Experience teaching in higher education or a clinical training environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Experience delivering teaching in both face-to-face and online settings
- Confidence using digital tools to support learning
Desirable
- Experience in simulation or clinical skills teaching
- Experience supervising student research projects
