We have a significant focus on widening access and will deploy our expertise to ensure we recruit students from the communities they will ultimately serve.

Our programme allows medical students to learn within our state-of-the-art teaching and learning spaces, including outstanding laboratory facilities, the latest in high fidelity clinical simulation equipment and some of the best hospital and GP settings in England.

The School of Medicine has a vibrant and growing research environment in public health, strengthened by externally funded research projects and opportunities to collaborate with local partners, such as through Fuse, the Centre for Translational Research in Public Health.
