Would you like to work in a modern higher education institution where values of student experience, customer service, academic quality, value for money and continuous improvement are at the forefront of how we make our decisions? If your answer is ‘yes’, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Immigration Compliance team.

As the Immigration Compliance Administrator, you will provide a significant contribution to making sure the University complies with its Student Visa Licence requirements and at the same time supporting the International Office to grow our international student numbers.

You will do this by supporting overseas applicants to navigate the complex immigration process and successfully secure a Student Visa to study at the University.

You will also support the Immigration Compliance Officer and Head of Immigration Compliance to carry out internal audits by reviewing data sets and documentation held to make sure that we are prepared should the Home Office seek to carry out a University inspection.

To be successful in this role the key requirement is to demonstrate a genuine desire to offer excellent customer service to our international applicants and put them at the heart of everything you do. You must seek to be innovative, be able to work in a fast paced environment, have attention to detail and to develop new ways of working to understand what our prospective students need from us and how we can support their aspiration to study.

In return, you will have a unique opportunity to add a real contribution to the University’s international strategy, whilst working with dedicated and friendly colleagues. We also offer you our commitment to training and development, a generous annual leave provision and to be part of a high-quality professional service in support of an excellent student experience.

Interviews for this post will take place on week commencing 28th February 2022.
