The BSc (Hons) Mental Helath Nursing Practice programme has gone from strength to strength in the past three years and following the NMC validation of the new curriculum we are offering an opportunity to join a dynamic and enthusiastic team as a Clinical Link Tutor Lecturer.


50% of this role is within practice, supporting and developing student learning within local Mental Health Trusts. The remaining 50% of the role is teaching within the University setting, contributing to the learning and teaching across all three years of the Adult Nursing programme, supported by experienced academics and the extended University team.

We offer an outstanding learning environment with simulated ward spaces, the Living Lab, state of the art equipment, along with award winning library and student support. Opportunities for personal development are outstanding and include the Helen McArdle Research Institute which uniquely enables all academics to engage with practice research.

This role requires excellent clinical knowledge generally across the Mental Health Nursing profession and the potential to offer unique specialist skills would be welcomed. Academic teaching experience is not necessary but teaching within the practice arena would be beneficial within this role. We are seeking an individual who has a current NMC registration as this is essential to the role as well as this this role requires an individual who has a FULL UK driving license and is able to drive a car driver, this is essential as the role holder will be required to travel to the various practice locations.
