The growth of the BSc (Hons) Nursing Practice Learning Disabilities (LD) programme over the past academic year has enabled the development of a new post to join the LD nursing team. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team and be part of a growing undergraduate nursing team (Adult, Mental Health and Children's nursing), to develop learning and teaching opportunities and prepare student nurses for the challenges of clinical practice and the rewards of nursing.

The successful candidate will be able to effectively undertake a lead role in co-production and delivery of curriculum and practice learning and assessment with service providers. Including management, development and delivery of modules on the BSc (Hons) Nursing Practice Learning Disability programme and associated undergraduate nursing programmes for Adult, Mental Health and Children's nursing.

The programme requires preparation of high quality teaching and learning materials and the delivery of assessment of these in lectures, seminars and other means of teaching and learning.

Integral to the role is the ability to undertake, sustain and develop a comprehensive research profile related to nursing, through peer reviewed publication and to actively seek and support opportunities for research collaboration and evidence based development in curriculum and practice.
