This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the development of post graduate nurses and Nursing Apprenticeships in the vibrant School of Nursing and Health Sciences and to contribute to the promotion of teaching, research and reach-out activities across the faculty. The successful candidate will join our creative team of nurse educators and contribute to our thriving partnership with schools. In addition to this, will also be required to effectively support the delivery and continual development of post- graduate nursing programmes / modules, registered nurse degree and advanced clinical practice apprenticeships and CPD / CWD nursing provision and related studies.

We are seeking an experienced practitioner with current registration with the NMC or HCPC who has a passion for education. The role requires the successful candidate to be an autonomous practitioner who can offer expert knowledge, guidance and support to the provision of our CPD / CWD and apprenticeship programmes.

The successful candidate will also be required to proactively cooperate and collaborate with key external partners in order to develop high quality teaching, research and publications in the field of nursing, which have relevance to academic, policy and practitioner audiences, and which will contribute towards the future Research Excellence Framework and Teaching Excellence Framework.

The post holder will posses a 1st degree in nursing or health related subject, a post graduate qualification, current NMC. The role will be varied and experience of teaching in a HEI and / or clinical setting would be advantageous.
