Our School of Nursing and Health Sciences is the largest School within the University, encompassing academic staff across Undergraduate, and Postgraduate Nursing and Allied Health Professional Programmes including Undergraduate and Postgraduate Nursing, Paramedic Science, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy.

Our Helen McArdle Nursing and Care Research Institute is an integral part of our School, supporting the development of Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professional (NMAHP) applied research within health and care settings aligned to the under the Institute's strategic themes of Health Services Research, Nursing, Military and Veteran Health, Out of Hospital Care and Bariatric Surgical Care.

As a School, we embrace research, impact and innovation, we are forward thinking in our approach and have strong working relationships with external organisations The Helen McArdle Nursing and Care Research Institute has a pivotal role to play in our School and wider Faculty's ambitious growth plans.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Research Fellow to join the Institute on a part-time, fixed term contract to support our research into Veteran Health and Wellbeing.

The successful candidate should have experience of being a Research Associate in a university setting, delivering research in the area of veteran health and wellbeing and working directly with veterans.
