Further details:    Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for 2 people who are keen to progress and develop their career to HR Business Partner level or above to join our HR Business Partnering team as an Assistant HR Business Partner; one role is 30hours per week (part-time) and the other is 37 hours per week (full-time).

You will already have experience and understanding of generic HR issues, in particular within Employee Relations, and will be keen to develop further by undertaking complex case work.

You will work closely with one or two of our current HR Business Partners and will have the opportunity to learn from their strategic lead whilst gaining hands on case work experience and being able to advise managers within your allocated client support areas.

This role would be ideal for someone ready for a challenge/who is looking to expand on their experience of advising managers perhaps as an HR Advisor or Senior HR Assistant. You will take responsibility for a casework load and will be involved in implementing the strategic priorities as directed by the relevant HR Business Partner. If you have significant HR experience but want to do more with a stepping stone to progress further, then this job is for you.  This role could also suit someone with a strong people management background keen to transfer into an HR role.  By using your own experience of managing people including formal processes in addition to your HR qualifications, you will be able to provide credible advisory support to your client areas.

You will be qualified to CIPD Level 7 with relevant experience in a similar role or have significant HR experience in a similar role in a medium to large complex organisation.

Our current team consists of 6 HR Business Partners, 2 HR Assistants and 2 HR Administrators and we support around 1600 staff.  These roles are new to the team. We are a supportive and friendly team and are very much part of our client support areas.  Take a look at our video for further information and to meet a few of the team.
