The Graduate Internship Scheme is a collaboration between the University of Sunderland, a recent Graduate and a regional SME. The Scheme has been designed to benefit both the Graduate and the company, ensuring that the Graduate takes the first steps on the career ladder whilst the company benefits from the Graduates enthusiasm, expertise and up to date knowledge.  

The Internship is a full time position.

The Role:

This role needs you to really understand each and every individual associate, what they bring, their skills and what their strengths are. It's about developing a relationship with our network and being seen as someone they can reach out to.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

•    Sourcing candidates, arranging interviews and collaborating feedback from clients

•    Booking and attending client and candidate meetings across the UK

•    Building and expanding networks through social media (LinkedIn) 

•    Ensuring the CRM system is kept up-to-date

•    Negotiating with external stakeholders and have a strong focus on business development

Essential Criteria

•    Degree-qualified

•    Experience in a fast-paced sales/professional services environment is highly desirable

•    Experience of using a CRM system

•    Excellent listening and communication skills

•    Strong organisation, time management skills and an ability to work to tight deadlines

•    Productive with a drive to succeed
