The Graduate Internship Scheme is a collaboration between the University of Sunderland, a recent Graduate and a regional SME. The Scheme has been designed to benefit both the Graduate and the company, ensuring that the Graduate takes the first steps on the career ladder whilst the company benefits from the Graduates enthusiasm, expertise and up to date knowledge.  



The Internship is a full time position.

The Organisation:

Evolve Group is a leading organisation within the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) industry situated in the North East of England.

Our area of expertise is Managed Private Cloud, ITaaS (IT as a Service), IaaS Solutions (Infrastructure as a Service) through our cloud division and IT Support through our MSP division.

We offer our services throughout the UK including providing IT Support Services in Durham, Sunderland, Newcastle, Gateshead, Middlesbrough, and Hartlepool working across all industry sectors including local and central government, banking and commercial sectors.


The Role:

The successful candidate will be knowledgeable across many aspects of Information and Communication Technologies and will be working together with a small team of staff to deliver a professional high quality service level to end users.


 Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Specialist IT support including dealing with hardware and software enquiries
  • Working together with a small team of staff to deliver a professional high quality service level to end users
  • First line support for our clients
  • Respond to and log calls, escalating calls as required with key support members
  • The support of hardware and software for all devices and applications from Servers, Desktops and Laptops
  • End user and product support for printers and multi-functional devices
  • Collate information to create quotations for Clients
  • Maintain all stock levels of equipment
  • Manage and set up new hardware following IT policies and procedures
  • Carry out duties to help support the company’s mission statement in line with the Company’s Values
