If your answer is ‘yes’, we have a great opportunity for you to experience it all for yourself as an Assistant Head of Services for Students (Careers, Enterprise & Opportunities).
In this role you will be leading and developing the Careers Service at University of Sunderland in London (UoSiL), anticipating and meeting the support needs of students and alumni. Specifically, you will be responsible for work opportunities, enterprise, and extra-curricular skills development. You will lead on the strategic development of the service, delivering the best outcomes for our students whilst driving improvements to our Graduate Outcomes.
To be successful in this role you will need have experience managing one or more of the following areas; work-integrated learning opportunities for students, enterprise support services or activities within an education environment, work-integrated learning curriculum. In addition, you have experience planning, conducting, reviewing and scaling successful pilot projects. You will have demonstrable skills in leading and managing a service delivery team and have solid project management skills with the ability to build successful partnerships.

To meet the requirements of this student-facing role, we anticipate the successful candidate will be based full-time at the UoSiL campus in Canary Wharf in London. We will consider flexible working if needed.
