The Gateway is the focal point for all enquires and we are a team that is dedicated to providing a warm and welcoming service. We provide frontline support to students and staff on a day to day basis covering a wide variety of enquires that arise throughout the student journey
Do you thrive on working with others to resolve issues? Can you take responsibility for your own enquiries – tracking down information on just about anything? Can you work independently and as part of a wider department and are not afraid to challenge opinions to help develop solutions and services to improve student experience? If so, we'd love to hear form you.
As a Gateway Liaison Adviser you’ll work across both campuses here in Sunderland at our newly refurbished enquiry desks which are equipped with the latest technology to assist you in providing excellent support to students through a variety of different mediums. To utilise such technology we are looking for someone with competent IT skills and a pro-active approach to problem solving.
If you hold an undergraduate degree or equivalent, with experience of working in a busy customer support environment, with all the diplomacy, attention to detail and multi-tasking skills that this role demands, we’d love to hear from you.
The Gateway Liaison Advisers role profile provides further details of day to day duties and responsibilities.
