The University of Sunderland is in the next exciting phase of its development with a new vision and redefined strategic ambitions designed to take advantage of the ever-changing higher education landscape.  

We are looking for outstanding, experienced and ambitious individuals to join us at Senior Lecturer level to develop the curriculum and deliver teaching to our business students. You will have the ability to drive our programmes forward and will contribute to teaching with the ability to apply industry-based knowledge and expertise through an experiential learning environment. You will contribute to research excellence through own research output potentially to include a REF submission and research leadership within the Business School.

We are interested to hear from candidates with PhD/Doctorate qualifications relating to the discipline. We welcome applicants with international collaborative experience.

The School and University has a lot to offer; situated on the beautiful North East Coast, St. Peter's Campus has wonderful views of the Wear River and is a stone's throw from the regeneration activity within the City as well as the Blue Flag beaches of Roker and Seaburn. For the right people currently working outside of the area, we would offer Staff Relocation Assistance in line with our Policy. We also have agile working, meaning that we offer a combination of on and off-campus activity to support Flexible working. Flexible arrangements apply, this role can be undertaken by one person on a full-time basis or two people undertaking a job.
