This is an exciting opportunity to join the University of Sunderland as a Lecturer in Accounting & Finance, to contribute to the success of our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Accounting & Finance is one of our flagship disciplines and we have great demand for programmes in this field.

The role will be part of our School of Business and Management team at the University of Sunderland and will contribute to our undergraduate and postgraduate modules. We are seeking an individual who is expert in accounting and finance, especially with an interest in financial analytics and developing a high quality student experience. The role holder will also contribute to the promotion of teaching, research and reach-out activities across the Faculty of Business, Law and Tourism, particularly the School of Business and Management.
The successful candidate will have the following:
- A professional accounting qualification and masters in an accounting or business related subject or a doctorate in an accounting and finance related subject
- Experience in the delivery of accounting and finance related subject matter in a professional or academic capacity
- A strong understanding of current financial and management accounting models and concepts such as preparation of financial statements, financial analytics, investment
appraisal and advanced costing techniques to underpin excellent teaching across subjects in Accounting and Finance
