An excellent opportunity has arisen within our Technical team for a part-time 3 days per week Healthcare technician. Working in our recently refurbished state of the art Sciences Complex, you will provide technical support to both under and post graduate students in our Healthcare suites.

You will work independently as well as being part of a team to provide technical support to enable the Faculty and Technical Services to meet its objectives in a range of technical activities within the Healthcare team, supporting all practical aspects of healthcare to students, staff and external agencies. You will ensure appropriate resources (materials, solutions and equipment) for student practical's, student projects, research and external activity are setup and available.

You will have the skills and knowledge of relevant techniques and equipment supporting academic delivery in Healthcare including the use of IT\AV and simulation. You will possess A levels in a science related subject or have substantial experience in a healthcare setting and have a customer service focus with knowledge of relevant Health and Safety legislation, with the ability to carry out risk assessments.
