This is an opportunity to develop your career in an exciting service and administration role within a large and varied organisation.
The role will involve providing a business support service to a small group of managers, carrying out administrative and systems-based tasks, finding solutions to problems and liaising with all areas of the University to effectively and efficiently get things done.
You don’t have to have a background working in Education, in fact, we would welcome applications from candidates who have worked in other sectors with a strong customer focus. The role would ideally suit a confident and proactive candidate who has good organization and IT skills and a passion for problem solving as well as good attention to detail. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the managers you support to enable them to provide life changing opportunities for our students.
In return, you will be joining a passionate and enthusiastic group of colleagues in an inclusive workplace focused on development. Parking is subsidised and you will benefit from flexibility around working hours and generous leave entitlements with 13 Christmas closure and bank holidays plus 26 days of annual pro rata. In addition you can request to buy up to 4 weeks extra annual leave per year.
