It is an exciting time to join Sunderland Business School as we look for a research-focused academic keen to grow with our expanding Faculty.
We are looking for an outstanding, experienced and ambitious individual to join us as a Lecturer in Sustainable Management. You will have the ability to drive our programmes forward and will contribute to teaching, research and outreach activities.

We are especially interested to hear from candidates with a relevant Doctorate, or those very near to completion.

The new role is located within a thriving Sunderland Business School, which is a part of the Faculty of Business, Law and Tourism at the University of Sunderland. Within the Business School we have networks, relationships and facilities through campus locations in both Hong Kong and London. We also have strategic partners across Europe, Africa, North America and Asia. Closer to home, we have a track record of working with regional employers and with the University’s Hope St Exchange; a business incubator and accelerator which provides outstanding contemporary workspace facilities for innovative companies.

The primary purpose of this role is to lead and teach Sustainable Management related subjects. You will also be expected to teach and supervise on other modules when required.

The role includes teaching, subject development, assessment, research, student support and related administration on a range of Business and Management programmes. You will be responsible for our undergraduate, postgraduate and TNE offerings.

You will also be required to support the Team Leader in the delivery of key performance indicators around recruitment, retention, progression, achievement and employability.
