The Digital Content team is a vibrant, hard working team who play a vital role in producing, maintaining and publishing digital content for a variety of digital channels and integrated campaigns, producing outstanding assets from videos to webcasts to insightful articles. The team primarily focus on maintaining and improving the content on the corporate website and for SEO, working with multiple stakeholders across the university. The team play a pivotal role in creating online events and continuously improving the digital customer experience.

The role of digital content in marketing and communications has never been more significant and this is an exciting time to join a growing team of digital and marketing professionals in a highly competitive sector. The team is based within the External Relations service and works very closely with Home Student Recruitment, International Office and other Faculties and Services in order to externally showcase our offer to prospective students and stakeholders.

The Digital Content Manager reports directly to the Head of Digital Content. The main purpose of the role is to undertake operational content management of the University’s external facing website, social media accounts and 3rd party partnerships in support of student recruitment, reputation management and the wider university. This role is responsible for managing the Digital Content team and liaising with internal clients such as faculties and other departments.

 The key criteria critical to the role includes:

  • Proven experience of managing multiple projects/priorities as part of/on behalf of a senior team
  • Line management experience
  • Proven experience of working across a business with multiple stakeholders
  • Proven experience of analytics and compiling reports for senior management
