The International Student Support team is an immigration advice service for current students at the University of Sunderland. The team provides guidance on a range of immigration issues to students and staff, working across both City and St Peters Campuses.

An opportunity has arisen within the team to appoint a full-time International Student Support Adviser.

This role contributes significantly to international student experience at the University, and we are committed to ensuring the provision of accurate, timely advice for students to support the successful completion of their studies at the University. The role holder will be required to work across university services to access information and support, to progress and resolve immigration enquiries. Responsibilities also include the assessment of student eligibility for Student Route sponsorship, and assigning CAS as required. Supporting the submission of Student Route applications is also a key part of student-facing activities carried out by the team.
