The University of Sunderland is a global institution operating across our three main sites at Sunderland, London and Hong Kong. In Sunderland we have our City Campus, which is at the centre of our modern city, and the University’s impressive riverside campus only a mile away. Estates and Facilities provide a service across a number of University buildings and to a large student and staff population.

The successful candidate will provide professional and technical support to senior management in the delivery of the Estate Strategy, campus development projects, major maintenance and minor works programmes.

•To assist in the preparation of project briefs; procurement; project implementation; contract administration, technical and operational commissioning.
•Provide regular management reports on progress, cost, project issues, risk management, mitigation measures and resolution.
•Internal liaison with key stakeholders and service users involved with the projects including external agencies, Funders and Planning and Building Control Departments in the Local Authority.
