The Graduate Internship Scheme is a collaboration between the University of Sunderland, a recent Graduate and a regional SME. The Scheme has been designed to benefit both the Graduate and the company, ensuring that the Graduate takes the first steps on the career ladder whilst the company benefits from the Graduates enthusiasm, expertise and up to date knowledge.  

 

The Internship is a full time position.

The Organisation:

Total BGS Energy is a new entrant disruptor to facilities management and the energy industry, offering more products and services to SME and domestic customers.  We offer both hands off and hands on customer management allowing customer’s needs to be better catered for.

Total BGS Energy take the stress out of utility procurement and installation. Based in Sunderland this is an exciting opportunity to join a team with big ambitions to grow.

The Role:

We are looking for an ambitious, goal driven graduate to join our team. 
The role will encompass the end to end management of marketing activity; reporting on and developing the brand awareness and media presence of Total BGS Energy. This will include launching the businesses new products and services via digital and print mediums.
The successful candidate will be offered training and development opportunities.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • To research, understand and monitor ideal customer profiles to develop strong, winning customer value propositions (CVP) and go-to-market plans (GTMP)
  • To research, understand and monitor industry competitors and total addressable market (TAM) trends to build context to activity.
  • To develop quarterly marketing plans in order to drive campaigns, marketing and sales enablement activity in order to hit revenue targets and meet wider company objectives.
  • To plan activity to a budget and monitor performance against such budget to provide clearer analysis of cost per lead (CPL) in the markets in which the company operates.
  • To design and create marketing content and materials.

Essential Criteria:
  • Degree level qualification in Business, Marketing or related discipline – graduating within the last 5 years.
  • Understanding of digital marketing including all social media platforms.
  • Knowledge of SEO and PPC.
  • Knowledge and experience of using graphic design software packages to develop content across all platforms.
  • Keen eye for detail.
  • Experience of working to targets and deadlines.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work in a team or alone.
A full UK driving licence is desirable.
