It is an exciting time to join Sunderland Business School as we look for Academic Tutors keen to grow with our expanding Faculty.

We are looking for outstanding, experienced and ambitious individuals to join us as an Academic Tutor.  You will have the ability to contribute to teaching, supervision and experiential learning activities.  There are multiple roles available and actual hours and activities will be agreed with individuals but are likely to include:

  • Teaching Research Methods to PG students
  • Supervising PG dissertations

In addition to the above duties, the role may involve some teaching on UG and PG modules in general management and/or marketing. The hours for this role are variable and are agreed with the individual.  You will join an Academic Tutor pool of staff.  There is no guarantee that work will be offered as this will depend on recruitment and resources at any given time.

We are especially interested to hear from candidates with a relevant Doctorate, or those very near to completion.
