Would you like to work in a forward-thinking institution where values of student experience, customer service, academic quality, value for money and continuous improvement are at the forefront of how we make our decisions? Do you place the student at the heart of all that you do? If your answer is ‘yes’ to these questions, we have a great opportunity for you to experience it all for yourself and to join our Student Administration and Systems team as an eLearning Coordinator.

Working alongside the Digital Learning Manager you will collaboratively enhance the University of Sunderland in London’s use of learning platforms. You will be responsible for providing support to staff and students, helping resolve issues, and providing advice and training on the use of the technologies to aid teaching and learning. In addition, you will work with colleagues to deliver pedagogical innovation and CPD designed to elevate the quality of teaching and learning across the University.

To be successful in the role, you will need to have previous experience in VLE support or experience supporting an online platform, coupled with experience of designing and delivering dynamic training sessions and the ability to motivate and influence users to engage with technologies. You will need to have first class customer service skills, be able to build strong working relationships with stakeholders and manage multiple priorities within a busy service environment.

In return, you will have a unique opportunity to add real value, while working with a dedicated and friendly team of academic and support colleagues. We also offer you our commitment to training and development, a generous annual leave provision, season ticket loan and our location in Canary Wharf with many transport links for easy access.

If you’re interested, up for the challenge and want to know more, please see the attached job description and person specification.  You will need to register on our e-recruitment platform and complete a short application form.
