In this role you will be responsible for leading a specialist advice and support service to all students, focussing on international student advice. You will be a key member and representative of the wider Services for Students team, working collaboratively as part of an integrated service to deliver a high-quality student experience. In addition, you will provide an effective liaison across the university and between statutory, third sector and external providers.
To be successful in this role, you will have worked in support service within Higher Education institution operating within OISC level 2 competencies. You will have detailed knowledge of UK immigration legislation as well as knowledge of the broader issues international students face. You will be skilled in not only interpreting policy legislation and regulations but in implementing policy and procedures into a service. You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to foster collaborative relationships and be able to remain calm under pressure.

To meet the requirements of this student-facing role, we anticipate the successful candidate will be based full-time at the UoSiL campus in Canary Wharf, in London. We will consider flexible working if needed.
